Feel Good Moments
🏀 Caitlin Clark has struggled but don’t freak out
Caitlin Clark’s WNBA had some rocky moments, but she finished with 20 points and 10 turnovers. Her second game? A lot worse. To be fair though, the WNBA has given her some of the toughest match-ups possible to start her career. We shouldn’t expect her to dominate early. Once she gets into June and has had more games under her belt, expect some big highlights (and logo 3s) to start to emerge.
🏀 The alien is coming to the Olympics
Countries are starting to finalize their preliminary rosters for the 2024 Olympics and we’ve got good news out of France: Wembanyama is going to be there. Accompanied by Rudy Gobert, France will boast 2 of the best post-defensive players from the NBA. Franchise has had lots of talent hit the NBA in recent years, with not all of it panning out (sorry Killian Hayes), but they’ll be a tough team this Summer.
🏈 Texans’ Dylan Horton rings bell after final cancer treatment
Defensive end from the Houston Texans Dylan Horton shared a video on Thursday of him ringing the bell. The significance? His stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer is in remission.
Horton stepped away from the Texans last November citing a “personal matter” & learned a few short weeks later that he had Stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma. It ended his rookie season, but after announcing he was in remission last month he rang the bell signaling his last radiation treatment.
The Return of College Football
11 years. 11 long years since the last time we had a new college football game to obsess over. That all changes July 19th with the release of College Football 25.
EA SPORTS dropped the first real trailer today featuring a plethora of teams, traditions & so much more.
Be happy to know that we’re getting online dynasties and the return of Road to Glory’s career mode. Hoping for Teambuilder? It’s confirmed as well. Transfer portal & the NIL? Confirmed as well.

The best words in sports: game 7
The Minnesota Timberwolves vs Denver Nuggets series has been difficult to process at times, but wildly entertaining for its entirety. Game 6 was a blowout that left Nikola Jokic standing up for the entire 4th quarter like he was planning someone’s murder.
Jokic stated after the game that he was merely standing the entire 4th quarter so that he could “be warm and lift after” … but none of us believe that. With Minnesota and Denver slated to finally decide their series Sunday, we can expect an all-timer performance from The Joker.
